EXPERIENCE THAT DELIVERS. VISION THAT UNITES:

1

Affordable Education & OSAP

he provincial government is turning student grants into loans and ending the tuition freeze. We will continue to lead the coalition fighting these changes, extend the $40,000 base funding increase to Master's students, and hold both the government and the university accountable.

2

Food Security & Financial Support

Graduate students cannot learn, research, or teach on empty stomachs. We secured $200,000 in annual food security funding and created the Emergency Grant program. We will expand programming across all four campuses and ensure every dollar reaches the students who need it most.

3

Transit Affordability

Graduate students are the only rider group excluded from TTC fare capping. We saved the post-secondary monthly pass and are now working to introduce a lower student fare. We will see that through.

4

Student-Supervisor Relations

Too many graduate students do not know where to turn when things go wrong with a supervisor. We will create clear, accessible pathways for raising concerns, advocate for mandatory mentorship and power-dynamics training, and build peer-to-peer support programs designed to outlast any single executive term.

Why vote GRADFORWARD?

We're not just promising change—we've already delivered it. As the team who reopened the UTGSU building, secured the $40K funding package, expanded food security initiatives, and created graduate student jobs, we've proven the ability to transform grad vision into reality. Our diverse slate combines experienced leadership with fresh perspectives, all united by a shared commitment to graduate student needs. With established relationships across university administration and government, we have the connections, knowledge, and determination to expand our successes to benefit ALL graduate students. Vote GradForward to build on our momentum and continue moving graduate student life forward together.
